What You’ll Do: As a Data Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting business operations by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data that drives key decision-making. Your work will help ensure the accuracy and efficiency of reporting processes, and you’ll have the opportunity to create insightful reports and dashboards that support the organization’s goals.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and consolidate data from multiple sources, ensuring its accuracy, completeness, and relevance. Develop strategies to optimize the delivery and analysis of data.
- Report Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy reports and dashboards that present key business metrics in a clear and actionable format. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure reports meet their needs and are visually appealing.
- Report Validation & Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy of reports and resolve any discrepancies. Perform ongoing quality checks to maintain data integrity and consistency.
- Report Automation: Automate data collection and reporting processes to improve efficiency. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements and implement solutions to streamline workflows.
- Report & Data Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation detailing how reports are created, the data they measure, and any assumptions made. Document data definitions and ensure consistency across the organization.
- Other Duties: As needed, you may be asked to take on additional responsibilities to support the data reporting function and broader business needs.
Who You Are:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in data reporting or a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and generate meaningful insights.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality reports.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Independence & Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve common goals.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement improvements.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
