Responsibilities :
Resident Care & Support :
Develop and implement high standards for assisted living services
Work directly with residents to evaluate and address their care needs
Conduct and assist with electronic evaluations for new residents and periodic re-evaluations
Implement services during move-in and help residents adjust to the community
Provide direct care to residents based on their identified service needs
Accurately assess, document, and communicate resident status, reporting changes as required
Maintain regular communication with residents and their families to ensure satisfaction with care
Ensure compliance with resident rights, dignity, and safety
Address challenging resident behaviors with professionalism and respect
Guarantee compliance with all state rules and regulations for assisted living
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Provide team members with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities
Challenge and inspire team members to achieve excellent results
Evaluate team members’ skills and competencies and conduct performance reviews
Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable
Oversee training and certification for all assisted living staff per company and state regulations
Mentor team members and oversee the use of the electronic care system
Build effective teams by determining staffing needs and recruiting top talent
Prepare staffing schedules to meet community care standards
Administration :
Adhere to budgetary guidelines
Coordinate with management for financial stability within the assisted living department
Provide regular reports on resident care and department operations
Maintain all resident records and department documentation
Comply with state-mandated reporting requirements
Audit assisted living services to ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications : Education :
Current RN or LPN licensure as specified by state agency (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
First Aid / CPR certification within 30 days of hire (as required by state regulations)
Dementia training completion within six months of hire, if applicable
Experience :
3 years of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in assisted living, geriatric nursing, or dementia care
Experience in medication administration and personal care preferred
Demonstrated ability in budgeting and cost control
Experience operating an electronic care system
