Position Overview for Director of Resident Care (DRC/LPN): We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Director of Resident Care to coordinate and manage our nursing program. You will ensure that our residents lead fulfilling lives while maintaining their dignity. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will oversee the caregiver and nursing staff to meet the emotional, physical, psychological, and safety needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities as Director of Resident Care (DRC/LPN):
Care Delivery Oversight: Ensure comprehensive care delivery that meets the emotional, physical, psychological, and safety needs of residents through all programs and activities.
Assessment and Planning: Conduct resident assessments following state regulations and company standards, utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) to develop service plans.
Collaboration: Work with key team members to discuss resident care needs and changes, ensuring appropriate adjustments in care levels and billing accuracy.
Program Management: Oversee the Spring Cottage (memory care) Signature Touches program, ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
Staff Management: Recruit, train, evaluate, and mentor nursing department staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Budget Management: Utilize company tools to manage the nursing department budget, ensuring staffing levels are maintained while adhering to financial guidelines.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to state regulations and company standards through regular audits and staff training.
Emergency Preparedness: Participate in drills and ensure all staff are familiar with emergency procedures.
