What are the responsibilities and job description for the C.N.A. - Per Diem position at Assisted Living?
- Provides and assists residents with daily and periodic personal care needs under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Provides for nutrition and elimination needs of the residents under the supervision of the licensed nursing staff.
- Performs specific procedures according to the residents care plan as instructed by the licensed nursing staff.
- Contributes to the effective communication and efficient functioning of the assigned unit.
- Contributes to the achievement of a high level of personal, quality service to promote quality of life for residents of Middlewoods of Newington.
- Contributes to the effective operations of the department by demonstrating dependability in job performance.
- Demonstrates commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of United Methodist Homes
- Collaborates with all staff to maintain the safety and security of all who reside, visit, or work in the facility.
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Current Connecticut Nursing Aide Registration
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English in order to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
