What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook Supervisor: Full Time (40 hrs) position at Assisted Living?
Masonicare at Wesley Heights, a nonprofit senior living organization, whose mission is to provide relationship-centered care, is currently seeking a Full-Time Cook Supervisor to work on our Wesley Village campus located in Shelton, CT in our Assisted Living Community: Wesley Heights.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Preparing food for a senior population, catering to varied diet requirements
- Adhering to all federal, state and company policies on service, sanitation, etc.
- Ability to effectively manage other dining team members
- Flexibility to jump in and do whatever needs to be done
- Impeccable customer service skills and a genuine love and respect for seniors
Requirements:
- 1 year experience cooking in a senior living or other health care environment, a plus.
- ServSafe Certification.
- Availability for days & evening shifts, as well as, every other weekend.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Willingness to undergo a complete background check, including physical and drug screen.
