What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dining Aide - Part Time position at Assisted Living?
United Methodist Homes, a non-profit senior living organization serving its 140-year mission to provide relationship-centered care, is currently seeking a Part Time Dining Aide to work on our Wesley Village campus located in Shelton, CT in our assisted living setting: Bishop Wicke.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals.
- Assisting Chef in the Kitchen.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the dining area.
- Assist with dishwashing and other kitchen duties as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to our residents.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality role preferred.
- Qualified candidates must be able to speak, read and write English.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to work rotating holidays & weekends.
- Must be willing to undergo a comprehensive background check, including physical and drug screen.
