We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and ensure high-quality patient care. The DON will oversee nursing operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage staff performance.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional who embodies the following:
Licensure & Experience: An active RN license with a minimum of 2 years as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing facility (SNF).
Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of state and federal healthcare regulations, with a proven ability to navigate the CMS 5-Star Quality Rating System and drive positive clinical outcomes.
Leadership & Mentorship: A passionate leader with a focus on mentoring, training, and motivating the clinical team to achieve excellence.
Collaborative Mindset: A team-oriented leader with a history of creating a positive, supportive work environment and fostering collaboration to ensure organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise nursing staff, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
- Manage department budgets, staffing, and resources.
- Monitor patient care, ensuring safety and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans.
- Lead training, recruitment, and performance evaluations.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives within the nursing department.
