What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist - Part Time Overnight position at Assisted Living?
Middlewoods of Farmington, a senior living community committed to its mission of providing relationship-centered care, is currently seeking an Overnight Part Time Front Desk Receptionist to work in our Farmington, CT community.
Shift: Overnight Shift, Midnight to 8:00am, every other weekend.
The administration assistant would be responsible for providing coverage for the reception desk while on duty, answering the phone, taking messages, and referring matter to the appropriate administrative person plus offers assistance, notifies police or emergency medical service when requested to do so from the hours of Midnight to 8:00am, every other weekend.
Requirements include:
- Experience working with seniors preferred
- Compassion, creativity, and excellent interpersonal skills a must
- A genuine love and respect for seniors
- Screens all incoming calls and greets community visitors to insure accurate and efficient communication is facilitated and the community is presented in a positive manner.
- Performs clerical duties.
- Acts as a central source of information for residents: assists them with problem solving, and directs them to appropriate department or locations
- Contributes to effective operation of entire community.
- Provides administrative assistance to the Director and other managers.
- Contributes to the effective operations of the department by demonstrating dependability in job performance.
- Demonstrates commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of United Methodist Homes
- Collaborates with all staff to maintain the safety and security of all who reside, visit, or work in the facility.
- Applicants must have the ability to speak, read and write English
- Must be willing to undergo a complete background check, including drug screen and physical
- Some holiday availability required
- Notifies police or emergency medical service when requested to do so
