Housekeeping Porter - Part Time

United Methodist Homes, a non-profit senior living organization serving its 140-year mission to provide relationship-centered care, is currently seeking a Part Time Housekeeping Porter to work at our Wesley Village campus located in Shelton, CT in our Long Term/Rehabilitation community: Bishop Wicke.

Available Shift:

• Part Time 16 hours from 4:00pm to Midnight.
• Includes every other weekend and one weekday evening.
• Also works every other holiday.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Performs routine internal cleaning assignments in a timely and effective manner as evidenced by feedback of others.
• Contributes to the effective operations of the department by demonstrating dependability in job performance.
• Demonstrates commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of United Methodist Homes.
• Collaborates with all staff to maintain the safety and security of all who reside, visit, or work in the facility.

Requirements:

• Education - Must be able to read, write and perform basic math functions.
• Experience - Entry level position, previous institutional cleaning desired.
• Licensure - N/A.
• Testing - Pre-placement physical & drug test required.
