Physical Therapist Assistant- Full Time or Part time- Outpatient Geriatrics - Immediate need.
We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant, for an opportunity to be an integral member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to our Continued Care Geriatric Facility. We're a Baltimore-based rehab agency that provides comprehensive therapy services to Maryland's geriatric population. New grads are encouraged to apply! We train all staff, regardless of experience.
Assisted Rehab delivers high-quality care to residents of our partners’ facilities with a unified goal to treat people better.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation
- Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
- Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
- Record and document patient care services
- Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care
Qualifications:
- Both new graduates and experienced therapists are welcome to apply
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
