Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. Duties
- Monitor patients' health by checking vital signs and observing changes in their condition.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Provide memory care support for clients experiencing cognitive challenges.
- Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's overall well-being.
- Provide hospice care as needed, ensuring comfort and dignity for clients at the end of life.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, senior care, or hospice care is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and ability to take vital signs accurately.
- Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
