Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Caregiver for a hybrid role that combines hands-on caregiving with administrative responsibilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow professionally while making a real impact on the lives of clients and caregivers alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate in-home and community care tailored to each client.
- Oversee and handle all caregiver/client scheduling.
- Perform routine supervisory checks.
- Assist with caregiver skills workshops.
- Support with daily caregiving tasks, including personal hygiene, grooming, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation.
- Mentor and support caregivers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Balance both hands-on caregiving and administrative duties as part of the hybrid role.
- Be on-call as needed to address urgent scheduling conflicts.
Requirements:
- At least 18 years old and comfortable in a supervisory role.
- 5 years caregiving experience.
- Genuine desire to help others with honesty and integrity.
- CPR certified or willing to obtain certification.
- Ability to complete required training from referring agencies and the TN Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (MHSAS).
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
- CNA certification, preferred but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
