Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule Management
- Oversee all caregiver schedules, including shift assignments, call-offs, and time-off requests.
- Match caregivers to clients based on availability, skillset, and personality to promote long-term success.
- Track and report key scheduling metrics daily, summarizing caregiver coverage, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments while maintaining ownership of scheduling decisions.
- Client & Caregiver Communication
- Communicate compassionately and professionally with clients and families, especially during times of distress.
- Collaborate with caregivers to address scheduling changes, shift challenges, and performance concerns.
- Escalation Management
- Take ownership of after-hours scheduling escalations, ensuring smooth handoffs, timely resolutions, and continuity of care.
- Proactive Problem-Solving:
- Identify scheduling gaps, caregiver shortages, and operational challenges, proposing solutions to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Monitor caregiver roster health and partner with Recruiting to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with Owners and other departments to support caregiver coaching, client onboarding, and successful caregiver-client matches.

- Experience
- Minimum 2 years managing employee schedules, preferably in a home care or healthcare setting.
- Skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage scheduling operations independently and confidently.

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
