Position: Full-Time Home Care Nurse (RN)
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills to build personal rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Ability to make independent decisions and accept direction and requests from the team.
- Flexibility and patience to work in various living environments.
- Knowledge of clinical skills
- Knowledge of state regulations related to homecare.
- Must be collaborative and team-oriented.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments for clients.
- Train newly hired caregivers
- Monitor and assess caregivers' delivery of care in the home setting.
- Supervise delegated tasks of medication administration and advise clients on health needs.
- Communicate with caregivers about ongoing responsibilities regarding clients' activities of daily living.
- Audit supervisory visits to ensure quality care.
- Keep accurate records of clients' ongoing care and progress.
- Communicate with the healthcare team and family members as needed.
- Must be a delegating Nurse and do MedTech training.
Work Schedule:
- Determined based on clients' needs, likely involving daytime hours and potentially some weekends and on-call.
- Candidates who can commit to the required hours and have the flexibility to handle emergencies and unexpected changes in schedule.
