JOB SUMMARY
As a Caregiver with Assisting Hands Home Care, you will provide non-medical, in-home care services that support the daily needs of seniors and adults with disabilities. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about caregiving and want to help others maintain their independence in a safe and supportive environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Provide companionship, engage in meaningful conversations, and offer emotional support.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying up, and maintaining a safe home environment.
- Run errands and provide transportation for medical appointments and shopping.
- Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
- Observe and report changes in client health and behavior to supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- At least 1 year of professional or personal caregiving experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to client homes.
- Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs. and assist with client mobility.
- Willingness to complete training and meet state compliance standards.
- Competitive Pay: $16$18/hr. base $1/hr. bonus for qualified shifts $18/hr. weekend pay.
- Bonus Opportunities: $150 for 90 days, plus a $150 referral bonus per hire.
