Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, bathing, grooming, and linen changes.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to client dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Safely assist with transfers, ambulation, and exercises as outlined in the client's Plan of Care.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and comfortable home environment.
- Ensure client safety by properly using and maintaining all equipment.
- Accurately document client care and complete all assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience (agency, private duty, facility, or paid setting).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Negative TB test results.
- Georgia state CNA license or PCA certification (or willingness to obtain PCA certification).
- Three professional/personal references.
