We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated caregivers to join our team in Northern Summit County. This position is ideal for individuals looking for flexible, part-time, or PRN (as-needed) opportunities. As a caregiver, you will provide support to individuals in need, assisting with daily activities, personal care, and companionship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, following dietary guidelines
- Provide medication reminders and assistance, as needed
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
- Monitor and report changes in the client's condition to the supervisor or family members
- Encourage and support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but NOT required)
- Previous caregiving experience required
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (can be obtained before hiring)
- Ability to lift and assist with mobility as needed
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient
- Ability to pass a background check
- Transportation required; valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
