Job Title: Home Care Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to join our team at Assisting Hands of South Volusia. As a Home Care Assistant, you will work one-on-one with our seniors to provide them with the care and support they need to live comfortably in their own homes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
- Accompany seniors on outings and appointments
- Monitor and report any changes in the senior's condition
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- CNA or HHA certification required
- Valid Level II Background check
- Classroom CPR certification
- Alzheimer's Certificate
- Assisting With Self-Administration of Medication Certificate
- TB Screening
