ABOUT US:
Assisting Hands® Home Care San Carlos seeks compassionate caregivers to join our growing team. At Assisting Hands, we offer our clients personalized non-medical caregiving services, typically in their homes. Our caregivers allow the elderly, disabled, and others needing assistance to maintain their independence and quality of life by assisting with their daily needs, avoiding falls, preventing medication errors, and addressing Alzheimer's/dementia concerns. Our services support individuals' preferences to maintain their dignity and independence.
We have an immediate opening for a caregiver to serve a client located in Hillsborough. If you are as passionate about helping others as we are, we'd love to discuss joining our team!

Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 professional years experience working as a caregiver in environments such as in-home care, Independent/Assisted Living/Memory Care community, Hospital and Rehab or certified CNA, MA, LVN
- Ability to pass a background check
- Licensed driver with insured and reliable transportation with proof of insurance
- Current TB or Chest X-ray; Current CPR Certification (both due upon hire)
- Reliable transportation
Education: High School Diploma/GED required

Primary Duties:
- Provides companionship
- Assistance with daily activities, including dressing guidance, grooming, meal preparations
- Medication reminders, running errands, laundry and light housekeeping
- Personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding, and other services
- Provides transportation for clients to doctor's appointments, beauty shops, etc.
