The Director of Sales at ACS plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s sales strategy, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives, and achieving aggressive revenue growth targets. This role requires a seasoned sales leader who excels in strategic planning, team leadership, and client engagement. The ideal candidate will drive success through innovation, collaboration, and a relentless focus on customer satisfaction.

Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities :

Sales Performance to Budget

  • Drive the achievement of sales targets and ensure alignment with budgeted revenue goals.
  • Monitor sales metrics and take proactive measures to address any performance gaps.

Oversee and Mentor Client Executives

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Client Executives, ensuring their professional growth and success.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, offering actionable feedback to support improvement.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and results.
  • Manage and Coach the ACS Sales Process

  • Ensure the ACS Sales Process is consistently applied by Client Executives and remains Followed by All.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales process.
  • Identify opportunities for process refinement and implement best practices across the team.
  • Accurately Forecast Future Sales

  • Collaborate with Client Executives to produce accurate and data-driven sales forecasts.
  • Leverage forecasting to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Drive Overall Sales Growth

  • Align sales growth strategies to ensure sustainable expansion.
  • Develop and execute plans to optimize team performance and achieve organizational growth objectives.
  • Ensure Sales Core Process Document is Continuously Updated

  • Maintain and refine the Sales Core Process Document to ensure it reflects current practices and remains Followed by All.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and align the document with evolving business needs.
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in the technology industry.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales performance tools
  • Knowledge of the Des Moines market and business landscape is a plus.
