Job Description
Waccamaw Management, LLC is in search of an Accounting Specialist II to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Post payments by recording checks, ACH payment and credit card transactions
- General Ledger entry and maintenance
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or discrepancies
- Maintaining accounts receivable files, records and collections
- Interaction with on-line banking software
- Works closely and supports the accounting manager
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge of general accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong computer skills and easily adaptable to software
- Self-Starter
- Ability to multi-task
- Confidentiality is a Must
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- 3-5 years accounts receivable experience a plus
