Job Description

Are you an experienced and service-oriented Food Service Manager looking for a rewarding opportunity? We’re seeking a full-time Onsite Food Service Manager to oversee dining operations at a beautiful residential community in Kissimmee, FL, working with a leading Property Management Company.

How Our Employees Make an Impact:

  • Oversee Daily Operations – Manage all aspects of food service, including meal planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring high-quality dining experiences for residents.
  • Staff Management – Hire, train, and supervise food service staff, create schedules, and foster a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Resident Satisfaction – Provide excellent customer service, address resident concerns, and ensure a welcoming dining atmosphere.
  • Health & Safety Compliance – Maintain food safety standards, adhere to all health and sanitation regulations, and conduct regular inspections.
  • Inventory & Budget Management – Track food and supply inventory, manage vendor relationships, and work within budget constraints to optimize cost efficiency.
  • Event Coordination – Assist in planning and executing special dining events, holiday meals, and themed nights to enhance community engagement.
  • Collaboration with Property Management – Work closely with the property management team to align food service operations with overall community goals and resident needs.

Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in food service management, hospitality, or a related field (residential, senior living, or hospitality industry experience preferred).
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  • Food Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation practices (ServSafe certification preferred).
  • Customer Service-Oriented: Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences and resolving resident concerns with professionalism.
  • Organizational & Budgeting Skills: Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and work within budget constraints.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate community events and dining schedules.
