Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for business clients with complex needs, acting as their go-to resource for financial solutions.
- Develop deep insight into clients’ industries and operations to support strategic business development and tailored financial advice.
- Promote and educate clients on a wide range of financial products, including cash management, lending, payments, and equipment finance.
- Maintain a proactive approach to prospecting and pipeline development, including relationship-building through Centers of Influence (COIs).
- Collaborate with internal teams and bring in subject matter experts to support client needs and identify cross-sell opportunities.
- Continuously enhance sales and credit knowledge and share expertise with colleagues; work closely with credit partners to support sound credit decisions.
- Take ownership of the client portfolio, ensuring high asset quality through effective underwriting, structuring, and portfolio oversight.
- Adapt to evolving responsibilities as needed and comply with all internal policies, maintaining a professional and ethical approach to client service and decision-making.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum of 7 years in a related field).
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Banking or Small Business Lending, with a strong emphasis on business development and client relationship management.
- At least 1 year of formal business banking credit training and experience within a financial institution.
