The Intake Specialist will be the first point of contact for new clients, responsible for gathering essential information, conducting initial screenings, and coordinating appointments. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial contact and gather client history.
- Schedule appointments and verify insurance coverage.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Provide information about clinic services and policies.
- Ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for clients.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare or mental health setting preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems, billing software and Apple computer systems
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and empathy.
