Position Summary
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team assigned to them, the Clinical Operations Supervisor provides direct support and leadership to the department while working closely with the Technician Manager and fellow supervisors. This position creates an environment where the highest standards of patient care are achieved by ensuring exceptional quality of care and maximizing efficiency and productivity within the department.
Expected compensation between $21.45 - $25.74/hour. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience and skills.

Clinical Operations Supervisor Essential Functions
- Assist the Manager in leading the day-to-day operation and coordination of assigned patient care services
- Assist the Manager in leading the clinic to improve patient, provider and staff satisfaction.
- Supervise and train assigned clinic personnel via established training programs to ensure staff competency.
- Oversee daily operations of assigned department functions and personnel to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Establish and maintain common procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with practice standards of quality patient care
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and protocols; Identify and address potential quality issues or concerns with assigned department functions
- Participate in continuous quality improvement and educational support of departmental philosophy and objectives
- Assist with special testing equipment maintenance at each site as assigned
- Lead on-site new employee orientation and create onboarding pathways for new employees
- Oversee the completion/monitoring of staff competencies, engaging in ongoing feedback to the effectiveness of staff members in their roles
Clinical Operations Supervisor Assigned Duties: Clinical Assistant Team
- Coordinate with the Technician Manager for accuracy of scribe and special testing services rendered in accordance with the health system's coding and compliance guidelines
- Complete audits on special testing equipment for billing purposes
- Complete audits on Nextgen Clinical Assistant documentation and develop workflows for consistency
- Train and audit remote scribe work
- Continually improve accountability and competency levels with the ophthalmic scribes
