SUMMARY

To process a high volume of vendor invoices on a daily basis, respond to vendor inquiries in an efficient and effective manner and generate payments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Process and match vendor invoices and statements; verify accuracy of information.
• Code invoices using chart of accounts and various organizational levels.
• Analyze data and draw logical conclusions.
• Route invoices to appropriate personnel for approval as needed while handling a high volume of invoices and payments to vendors in a timely manner as approved by the treasury manager.
• Research accounts to resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of various reports in Excel, Great Plains and Axon
• Assist vendors as needed, in person and over the telephone.
• Perform procedures in an organized, accurate and timely manner.
• Check and tabulate data.
• Perform various routine clerical duties such as typing and filing.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Physical & Mental Requirements

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands : occasional standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing. Occasional lifting, and or moving up to 40 pounds. Constant use of overall vision and hearing abilities; frequent detail, reading and close up work.

Working Condition

Work is performed in a typical temperature controlled office environment subject to typical office noise. Defined on site work schedule.
