Job Title : Senior Accountant Department : Accounting Company : AFS Full / Part-Time : Full-time Location : West Main, Turlock FLSA Status : Non-Exempt Shift : Day Rate of Pay : $70,000- $90,000 per year.
SUMMARY
Reporting to the Division Controller, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for the general ledger, monthly close and reconciliation activities, reporting for management use and compliance filings, and various duties in support of other departments. The role will provide an opportunity for personal professional growth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Essential duties and responsibilities may include and are not limited to :
- Reconcile the trial balance
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Analyze general ledger activity and variances
- Prepare reports for management, external auditors and tax team, and government agencies
