Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead and oversee field installation and testing of fire sprinkler systems. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills and experience with all types of systems and projects ranging from new construction, renovations to tenant improvements. The Fire Sprinkler Foreman is expected to ensure safety, quality, and timely execution of all tasks, while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain fire sprinkler systems according to industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with existing fire sprinkler systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to complete projects on time.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards during all operations.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians as needed.
- Assist in project scheduling and coordination with other trades.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician or similar role in the fire protection industry.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations related to fire protection.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to fire sprinkler systems.
- Familiarity with quality control processes in construction or installation environments.
- Experience with testing equipment such as Ohmmeters is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
- Supervisory experience is a plus but not required.
