Description

Associated Fire Protection is seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment. As an Inside Sales Associate, you will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing relationships with clients.

Job Specific Functions to include but are not limited to:

  • Satisfy requests for quote by providing proposals and quotations to solve customer problems.
  • Process sales and obtain orders and or contracts including but not limited to service & repair, maintenance, and test & inspections of fire protection systems and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers through Customer Relationship Management.
  • Conduct outbound sales calls to potential clients and follow up on leads. 
  • Follow-up on quote and contract renewal.
  • Enter work-orders, ensure proper time and material is listed.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals.
  • Track sales progress and use historical company data to continually increase sales.
  • Assist in all sales functions as needed.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of sales campaigns.

General Functions

  • This position includes a lot of interaction with customers and coworkers. The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively and enjoy collaboration with others.
  • The successful candidate should be aligned with company's mission, vision and values. 
  • Depending on skill level, the successful candidate should be able to manage, lead and mentor others.

Requirements

Additional Requirements/Experience including but not limited to: 

  • 1-2 years of experience in inside sales or a related field. 
  • Previous sales experience in the fire protection field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software. 
  • Familiar with industry’s rules and regulations is preferred. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to meet sales targets and production goals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • The position has frequent periods of stress. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure as needed.
