JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Web Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and implement web-based systems for intranet and internet applications. You will work closely with other developers, business units, and external vendors on new system development projects and the transition of legacy systems. As part of a collaborative team, you will contribute to innovative solutions impacting all business operations areas. Applicants must be self-driven, team-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Modify and maintain existing programs/systems as needed, including redesigning, coding, compiling, testing, documenting, and implementing changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performing necessary repairs and testing.
• Design and manage data resources for programs/systems, including creating and maintaining physical data structures and elements.
• Design, code, compile, test, document, and implement new programs as requested.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure seamless system integration and delivery.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent work experience and training.
• Minimum of one year of relevant work experience with demonstrated competence in web development. In-depth knowledge of Internet/Intranet programming and general business operations.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Principles, Design Patterns, and Software Engineering best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to create sound, innovative solutions for complex challenges.
• Experience with and/or willingness to mentor junior developers.
• Proficiency with the following technologies:
• ASP.NET, C# and/or VB.NET, ADO.NET
• HTML
• Microsoft SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, etc.)
• XML/JSON/Web Services
• Microsoft Visual Studio
• Web Forms/Web Controls
