This is a full-time position, Sunday - Thursday, 7:00 am-3:30 pm.

Position Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Communicate daily with the Packaging Supervisor to coordinate production activities to fulfill orders and packing material needs.
- Report any product quality issues to Packaging Supervisor and Quality Control.
- Ensure work area is maintained and in good and sanitary operating condition.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date food safety logs notifying the Packaging Supervisor, Produce Category Manager and Food. Safety Manager if there are corrective actions that need to be taken.
- Ensure all guidelines are followed for food safety.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
- Knowledge of quality control standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
- Need to have basic PC skills including proficiency in MS programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Preferred experience working in produce related fields.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to handle constant exposure to cold environment.
- Ability to sit, crouch, reach above , and bend frequently.
- Ability to smell, taste and must have color acuity.
