Clinic CMA - Internal Medicine
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinic CMA to join our internal medicine team.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program
- CPR certification and ability to maintain confidentiality required
- Certification with American Association of Medical Assistants preferred
Responsibilities:
- Rooms patients and assists in procedures
- Schedules tests/procedures, administers injections, and preps charts and abstracts results
- Cleans and stocks rooms, and may assist with autoclaving
- Monitors and responds to MyChart requests, result notes, unviewed results, unread message alerts, etc.
- Completes stat prior authorizations and treatment visits for patients who may need a blood pressure check, ear lavage, immunization, etc.
- Works the Epic In Basket and responds to non-symptom-based calls from patients regarding refill requests, paperwork, immunization questions, etc.

Work Schedule:
Schedule four 10-hr shifts, Mon-Fri, 7am-5:30pm, with a Sat morning rotation 8am-12pm
