Associated Physicians LLP is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Clinic CMA-Internal Medicine to join our internal medicine team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in medical assisting and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
This position involves working closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Rooms patients and assists in procedures, schedules tests/procedures, administers injections, and preps charts and abstracts results.
- Scheduling and Administrative Tasks: Monitors and responds to MyChart requests, result notes, unviewed results, unread message alerts, etc.
- Clinical Support: Completes stat prior authorizations and treatment visits for patients who may need a blood pressure check, ear lavage, immunization, etc.
- Epic In Basket Management: Works the Epic In Basket and responds to non-symptom-based calls from patients regarding refill requests, paperwork, immunization questions, etc.
