Environmental Education Instructor (Green Lake Community Center)
The Associated Recreation Council is recruiting for enthusiastic and engaging Environmental Education Instructor at Green Lake.
ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities. The Environmental Education Instructor at Green Lake Community Center will guide children in hands-on, environmental education activities
Start Date:
- 4/22/2025
Schedule:
- Tuesdays, 10:15am-12:30pm
- Saturdays, 9:30am-11am
Environmental Education Instructor duties and responsibilities include:
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants
- Guide children in hands-on, environmental education activities.
- Lead outdoor walks.
- Stay current on environmental science discoveries
- Create lesson plans and activities
Environmental Education Instructor requirements include:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Some experience working with children, preferably in an outdoor setting;
Pay:

Starting Pay: $24.50 - 26.50/hr.

Full Pay Range: $24.50-34.50/hr (employee may earn up to $34.50/hr with continued employment)
