Instructor - Sports-Multiple (Rainier Beach Community Center)
If you have a knowledge and understanding of fundamentals of various types of sports and passion and experience of teaching kids, Associated Recreation Council (ARC) has a role for you as a Sports Instructor at Rainier Beach Community Center. This is a part-time year-round role staring from Jul 2024.
Associated Recreation Council in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation is hiring Sports Instructor. The Sports Instructor at Rainier Beach Community Center will lead a group of youth between the ages of 5-8 primarily in Soccer, Basketball, kickball, and Racket Sports
Start Date:
- 4/1/2025
Schedule:
- Part Time (Flexible would prefer Monday Afternoon 1-2 hours)
Sports Instructor duties and responsibilities include:
- Enhance participants' skills in soccer, basketball, racket sports as they learn the fundamentals and play the games.
- Emphasize mental attitude, the importance of teamwork, how to play as a team, and the benefits of playing sports.
Sports Instructor requirements include:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- AA or degree in physical education is preferred
- At least one year of experience planning and supervising recreational programs and/or educational activities for children
Pay:
- $24.50-$26.50/hour
