If you have a knowledge and understanding of fundamentals of Table Tennis and passion and experience of teaching kids, Associated Recreation Council (ARC) has a role for you as a Table Tennis Instructor at Green Lake Community Center. This is a part-time seasonal role staring 4/22/2025.

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities. The Table Tennis Instructor at Green Lake Community Center will teach a group of youth the rules, strategies, and techniques of the sport. They also help them improve their skills and stamina. Table tennis instructor must have a passion for the sport and want to share their love of the game with children.

• 4/22/2025

Schedule:  

• Tuesdays, 4:30-6pm

Table Tennis Instructor duties and responsibilities include:

• Help participants learn the fundamentals of the game, such as proper grip, stroke production, and footwork.
• Teach more advanced skills, such as serves, spins, and shots placement. In addition to physical instruction, the instructors will also discuss strategy and game analysis with the participants.

Table Tennis Instructor requirements include:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Some experience planning and supervising recreational programs and/or educational activities for children

Pay:

• Starting Pay: $24.50 - 34.50/hr.

• Full Pay Range: $24.50-34.50/hr (employee may earn up to $34.50/hr with continued employment)
