In this key role, you’ll ensure that irrigation pumps are running smoothly contributing to efficient water usage across the system. From conducting preventative maintenance to troubleshooting repairs, you’ll play an integral role in keeping systems up and running — ensuring clients’ landscapes stay vibrant and thriving!
Key Responsibilities :
- Preventative Maintenance : Regularly inspect pumps, motors, pipes, valves, and filters to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Cleaning and Debris Removal : Clean filters and screens to eliminate blockages and maintain optimal water flow.
- Lubrication : Apply lubrication to moving parts to reduce wear and tear.
- Leak Detection & Repair : Identify and repair leaks ensuring system integrity.
- Electrical Checks : Monitor electrical connections, amperage, and voltage to ensure smooth pump operation.
- Pump Adjustments : Adjust pressure and flow rates for efficient performance.
- Part Replacement : Replace worn components like seals, bearings, and impellers.
- Troubleshooting and Repair : Diagnose and fix pump issues related to motors, water pressure, and leaks.
- Recordkeeping : Maintain detailed logs of maintenance tasks, parts replaced, and issues identified.
