Job Title : Quality Control Inspector

Location : Columbus, NE

Pay : $20 - $25 / hour DOE

Shift : 1st Shift, 5 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM

We’re looking for a skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our client's team and ensure the precision and reliability of their machined products! Help maintain the highest quality standards while working in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Inspect and audit parts during various stages of production to verify conformance to specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and formulas to establish quality and reliability standards.
• Plan and audit inspection procedures, utilizing historical data and product specifications.
• Record test data, generate reports, charts, and graphs using statistical quality control procedures.
• Recommend improvements to existing production standards for optimal quality.
• Perform first part inspections and ensure timely communication with production teams for approvals.
• Use precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers and dial indicators to measure part dimensions.
• Compare surface finishes using profilometers or standard blocks for quality assurance.
• Audit and calibrate inspection equipment for accuracy and reliability.
• Investigate in-house or customer complaints and manage the disposition of discrepant products.
• Use and audit SPC and other statistical analysis methods to ensure product quality.
