We are seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our a great team. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
The position offers a starting pay of $15.45 / hour with the potential for pay increases based on your performance and attendance once you're rolled over to a permanent position.
Responsibilities :
- Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks in the washroom area ensuring that all equipment and surfaces are sanitized and meet company standards
- Handle and dispose of materials and chemicals in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the shift
- Ensure that washroom equipment is functioning properly and report any issues to supervision
- Work closely with team members to meet production goals and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures to ensure a safe work environment
Requirements :
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending and lifting for extended periods
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Prior experience in a physically demanding or cleaning role is a plus but not required
- Must be willing to stay past 6 : 00 PM when needed to complete tasks
