As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of machinery and equipment as well as supporting general building and grounds maintenance. You’ll be working with a variety of tools, electrical components and equipment—so a strong technical background is essential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and repair electrical components and systems
- Repair pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical tools and equipment
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to manage maintenance needs
- Perform welding tasks when required
- Handle grounds maintenance tasks such as snow removal using a skid steer, mowing, weed eating and weed spraying during the spring and summer
- Conduct common building maintenance, including fixing walk-in doors and replacing light bulbs
- Ensure a safe working environment by following safety protocols when working at heights and using safety harnesses
