Job Summary :
- Grain Elevator Maintenance Operator
- Location : Inland, Nebraska
- Schedule : Day shift with some weekends or nights
- Pay : $23 / hour
As a Grain Elevator Maintenance Operator, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of machinery essential to elevator operations.
Your role includes performing daily and preventative maintenance, inspecting equipment and making small repairs. You’ll also assist with the day-to-day operations of the grain cleaning facility.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct daily maintenance and preventative checks on elevator machinery
- Inspect machinery for issues and perform small repairs including changing bearings
- Execute light welding tasks as needed
- Assist with the overall operations of the grain cleaning facility
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements :
- Knowledge of grain elevator operations
- Previous experience in grain elevator maintenance
- Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills
- Light welding experience preferred
