Position : Paint Prep / Industrial Painter
Pay : $20 / hour
Location : Minden, NE
Shift : 2nd Shift, Monday – Thursday, 2 : 30 PM – 1 : 00 AM
What You’ll Do :
- Prepare surfaces for coating on both large and small assemblies using a variety of chemicals and solvents.
- Mix primer and paint to ensure the correct application.
- Apply coatings using hand and power tools, including wet paint guns and electrostatic paint systems.
- Maintain and clean the paint booth, change filters, and repair broken equipment as needed.
- Maintain painting equipment and ensure proper operation of all tools.
- Follow safety protocols and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators, paint suits, safety glasses, gloves, etc.
- Operate forklifts and industrial trucks to move materials as necessary.
- Clean work areas and keep an organized, efficient workspace.
- Work in a collaborative team atmosphere to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Handle multiple priorities and interruptions while ensuring high-quality results.
