Quality Control Tech – Join Our Client’s Team!
Location: Cozad, NE
Shift: Night Shift - 12 Hour Rotating Shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
Pay: $19.10 per hour (with increase upon successful completion of 3-month training)

Are you detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring the highest product quality Our client, a leading manufacturer in Cozad, is looking for a Quality Control Tech to join their team and play a crucial role in maintaining product excellence. In this position, you will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality of extruded products working closely with the production team to uphold strict quality standards. Your attention to detail and quick decision-making will be key to success in this role.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure the quality of all extruded products by following the Q.C. manual and performing quality checks every two hours across all extrusion lines.
- Immediately notify operators of any product failures to prevent defective products from being packaged.
- Have the authority to reject products that do not meet the outlined Q.C. standards.
- Complete daily production reports and ensure that products meet the standards for Masterbatch, low calk, and beads.
- Utilize a variety of testing equipment such as Dart tests, Impact tests, Micrometers, and Spectrophotometers.
- Work a rotating 12-hour night shift schedule, including two days on, two days off and three days on, with every other weekend off.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and good handwriting skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for immediate feedback to operators on product issues.
- Knowledge of or the willingness to learn about various testing equipment and measuring instruments.
- Previous experience in quality control is a plus but not required.
