Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work independently in various environments.
Duties
- Install and configure low voltage systems, including security, fire alarm, and communication systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing low voltage equipment.
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to test and diagnose electrical issues.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and wiring configurations.
- Conduct field service visits to client locations for installation or repair tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and equipment logs.
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure project completion on time.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on field service operations.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
