EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Must have a high school diploma/degree or equivalent; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and present and to draw and interpret graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Tracks hours worked by warehouse employees using the Kronos timekeeping system. Performs data entry for Kronos timekeeping system including missed punches and corrections.
- Records/monitors employee information such as vacation and sick pay accruals, attendance, and disciplinary history.
- Communicates "time-keeping" system changes to the local and corporate accounting department. Develops and tracks all manual time change requests. Assists with pay rate change notices developed under the warehouse compensation program.
- Maintains and/or assists with weekly recap on new hires, terminations, worker's comp, and absences due to disability or personal injury.
- Submits timecards for approval and payroll processing.
- Updates crewing rosters and monitors departmental personnel changes in the warehouse.
- Composes general and routine correspondence.
- Ensures all warehouse personnel files are maintained properly and filed up to date in order for inspection and audits.
- Assists with new hires and sets up new employee files.
- Compiles data from personnel records and other HR programs (Kronos and DLX) to prepare reports.
- Prepares billings for warehouse partners and vendors for accurate and rapid payment.
- Assists with employee activities such as Employee Appreciation Day and other activities as assigned.
- Must be proficient in office suite programs.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned by WH Operations Director or other warehouse management.
