What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wound Care Nurse Practitioner position at Associated Wound Specialists?
Associated Wound Specialists has been growing leaps and bounds in the past 4 years. We have grown from 1 mid-level practitioner to 6. And we now seeking our 7th to continue to grow the Knoxville area.
What makes us unique? We operate in the same manner as Home Health agency. We go the patients and treat/heal their wounds. We use the latest advancements in wound care, and we are seeing great results on patients that have been dealing with wounds from months to years.
We are seeking a nurse practitioner preferably with wound care experience and/or home health but not required. Hand on training and certification are provided.
Our program allows providers to manage chronic wounds in the home. We then task the home health agencies or the patients' primary caregivers with routine dressing changes.
Job Types: Travel
Schedule: 4 days per week. Fridays off.
License: Certified Nurse Practitioner - Required
Certification: Certified Wound Care Provider - Preferred
Experience: 1 - 2 years' wound care experience preferred. 1 - 2 years of home health experience - preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
