RN - PER DIEM
NO NIGHTS, WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS- POSSIBLE SHIFT FROM 8AM-4PM MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

If so, then we would love to have you join our team as a Per Diem RN. At AHS, our mission is to provide choice, opportunity, and support to the individuals we serve, their families and those we employ to enhance the quality of life in our communities.
We are a busy Adult Day Health program in Taunton serving elderly and physically/developmentally disabled adults seeks qualified per diem nursing staff to fill in when nursing staff is out of the office. Must be comfortable providing direct care of elderly and disabled population.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate Health related activities, i.e. blood pressure montioring, medication management, etc.
- Provide and/or supervise nursing services for each participant as appropriate.
- Supervise medication management services.
REQUIREMENTS:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and
- 2 year's experience with elderly and/or developmentally disabled population.
- Recognize and respect individual family cultures
- Understand the importance of and respect for confidentiality
- Possess strong organizational skills to balance productivity needs and required paperwork
- Adapt well to a fast-paced work environment and are highly organized with solid time management skills.

The physical demands and work environment described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Must be able to engage in activities that include bending, and lifting to assist individuals in a wheelchair.
Employment is contingent upon the following:
· Criminal Offender Record (CORI)
Fingerprint background check
· Evidence of a physical exam within past 12 months
· Negative TB test within past 3 months
· Documentation of subsequent physical exam every two years
