Summary
The primary responsibility of a Kentucky Early Intervention System (KEIS; formerly “First Steps”) provider is to evaluate and provide treatment for pediatric patients between the ages of birth and three years with needs in the areas of physical, social-emotional, self-help, communication, and cognitive development.
KEIS Providers at APT, while working primarily in children’s natural environments (homes, daycares, community centers, etc.) also have the opportunity to work in other APT offices and contract locations, depending on the counties / areas served.
PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Developmental Interventionists interested in any of these settings can apply for this position.
