Duties
- Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures.

- Assist in the management of clinic operations to ensure a smooth workflow and optimal patient experience.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care in hospital medicine settings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions as directed by physicians.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical assistant role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to OB/GYN and is advantageous.
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment within a Medical Office.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and scheduling purposes. We use Athena Health One.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff effectively.
- A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
