Job Description:
Software Engineers will work on the design, development, integration, and maintenance of a unique operationally deployed system. Candidate must possess the ability to work as a member of a small, highly skilled team in a dynamic environment and participate in systems design, code development, debugging, and integration and test of new capabilities, enhancements & modifications into the operational baseline. The work expands automated, continuous software deliveries from multiple development teams to deployments on cloud and on premise systems. The position also requires an individual with the ability to work on technical challenges to provide innovative solutions, to include troubleshooting the system (Linux/windows/certificates), implementation of new capabilities, helmfile installs/configurations and support test activities with IA personnel. The position requires the ability to successfully interact with end-users, customers, and other program engineers.
Day-to-day work will be to create/modify/test Terraform and Ansible scripts for creating base systems for on-prem and cloud systems. The main system software being installed will be a Kubernetes cluster and Active Directory.
This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or 3.
Minimum Qualifications for level 2:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering, or related technical degree with 2 years software development experience or 6 years of work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
•Must have and be able to maintain TS/SCI security clearance
•Java and Java Script experience
•Experience in containerization for rapid deployment and integration of defects/features, i.e., Docker, Kubernetes
•Experience in workloads with high performance requirements and developing efficiencies, i.e., digital transformation
•Knowledge of Virtualized Environments, including architecture, creation, deployment and management of VMs
•Knowledge of object oriented design

•Java and Java Script experience

•Experience in workloads with high performance requirements and developing efficiencies, i.e., digital transformation
•Knowledge of Virtualized Environments, including architecture, creation, deployment and management of VMs
•Knowledge of object oriented design
•Knowledge of software lifecycles
Preferred Qualifications:
